Kew Palace - A Royal Sleepover

October 24, 2013

Mampara Dance and Lady Greys spent a night with His Majesty King George III and illustrious guests last night at the first ever royal family sleepover at Kew Palace.

Honoured guests were selected from young persons of the area, with respected Mothers and Fathers to chaperone.

They spent a whole evening preparing for and enjoying a Georgian Ball, learning dance patterns and etiquette before being presented one by one to the king. By His Majesties gracious consent, young guests were permitted to perform for the King, a Polonaise, a Quadrille and a Gallop.

A little decorum was lost but a great deal of fun was had!
