Dancer and choreographer Natalie Hunt is the Mampara Dance Company founder and director and has run studio and performance companies in the UK and Asia for over a decade.  Mampara Dance Company offers both performance appearances and studio classes.

NATALIE HUNT:

Natalie studied dance at The Dance Exchange and is qualified with RAD, IDTA, Barre Concept and BGU in ballet, jazz, fitness and cheerleading.  She trained for five years in Argentine Tango in London and Buenos Aires. She has performed with Diversions Dance Company, Wayne Sleep, and for Tony Lundon, Ashley Banjo, Twenty20 Cricket, the American Football Premier League, the RFC, F1, England Basketball.  

MDC STUDIO:

MDC teaches dance and fitness to adults and children across the city,  including at The Urdang Academy, Sadler's Wells, LAMDA, Sylvia Young, Spirit Young, The Place, City Academy and Dance Attic. MDC offers classes in Ballet, Jazz Dance, Contemporary, Commercial Dance, Street Jazz, Cheerleading (stunts, dance & tumble), Pom dance, Gymnastics, Barre Fitness, Flexibility, Body Conditioning, Bootcamps and Argentine Tango.

Mampara Dance specialises in education and interactive dance experiences and performances for students of all ages, working with the very best dancers to bring you dance shaped fun in styles from cancan to Charleston, cheerleading to street dance, Argentine Tango to Swing. We are frequently found around the country running workshops at venues ranging from Kew and Fulham Palace to the Olympic Park, Hatfield House, ITV, Dorney Court, Weston Park and Jamie Oliver’s fantastic Big Feastival.  

Programme Director Natalie Hunt is an IDTA / UKCA / BGU dance, cheerleading, gymnastics coach and dance teacher at studios including Sadler’s Wells, Urdang Academy, The Place, Sylvia Young, Spirit Young, Dance Attic and City Academy.  She is a dance, Cheerleading and gymnastics teacher for schools & clubs in Wimbledon, Sheen, Barnes, St Margaret's Ravens Court Park & Kingston, and previously head Cheerleading coach for the American Football Premier League Champions & the RFC.

Mampara Dance founder, Natalie is also co-founder of Hero Movement an empowerment through dance programme for schools.  Her personal professional dance journey encompasses professional cheerleading for squads including the Oval’s Surrey Lions 20:20 Cricket, event dance performances in historic styles from Regency dancing to Cancan to 1920s-50s jazz and Lindy Hop, and for the last 6 years, Argentine Tango.
